Tim McGraw PSA

100,000 Jobs Mission & Chase

Director Mike Green / Spring Valley Films

Executive Creative Director Nick Davidge

President GreenLight Dominic Sandifer

I know it must sound like I'm repeating myself saying how nice everyone is, but really, Tim McGraw is the nicest guy! It was such a pleasure to work with him. He's so smart, kind, generous and down to earth!

"Country music superstar Tim McGraw launched a nationwide program called Homefront in partnership with Chase to award 25 mortgage-free homes to wounded warriors and service members during his 2011 summer tour. McGraw has a long history supporting military families and wanted to find another way to honor our vets. The partnership with Chase made this possible and provided an opportunity to launch an integrated program across Chase, Chase Military & Veteran Affairs, Chase Retail Marketing, Operation Homefront and The USO." - GreenLight

Chase is committed to awarding 1,000 mortgage-free homes to veterans, wounded heroes and transitioning service members through their nonprofit partners.

The following month, we produced a live concert with Tim McGraw in Jacksonville, Florida for 16,000 military members and their families at U.S. Naval Station Mayport to celebrate Veterans Day.  We transformed the parking lot into an incredible concert space. We broadcasted the concert live on the Pentagon Channel and online on Tim's website and Youtube channel therefore bringing the concert to fans worldwide.

"It's easy for me to show up and play music to honor the men and women who have the really tough jobs," said McGraw.  "To me, it's just one small thing I can do to help show how much we appreciate what they put on the line and what these families sacrifice every single day. Since we started this program 18 months ago, I have had the privilege of meeting many service members and their families and have heard many inspiring stories.  It's something I'm proud to do and want to take it as far as we can!"

“It’s an honor for us to partner with Tim McGraw and the Navy to thank our servicemen and women, past and present, and their families,” said Mel Martinez, chairman of JPMorgan Chase in the Southeast U.S. “We are happy to be able to give back through this concert as well as through our firm’s military programs to a community that has given so much to us.”

“On the eve of Veteran’s Day, this concert is a gift and tribute to the brave men and women of our military who have served their country. This is an opportunity to say thank you to our service members and their families who wear the cloth of this great nation and to those who have gone before us defending freedom and democracy around the world,” said Capt. Wes McCall, Naval Station Mayport Commanding Officer. “I extend my heart-felt thanks to Chase and Tim McGraw for choosing Naval Station Mayport as the location to share their time and talents in honor of America’s fighting forces.”

Here is a news clip from WXJT talking about the concert. Also, here are some photos I took of the parking lot before and after and the control room trailer.
